The Center for Public Health Readiness and Communication (CPHRC) at Drexel University's Dornsife School of Public Health conducts research and provides service and education in the field of public health emergency preparedness. 

CPHRC is one of two research centers based in Dornsife's Environmental and Occupational Health Department, with the other being the Center for Firefighter Injury Research & Safety Trends (FIRST).

Mission of the Center for Public Health Readiness and Communication

The Center's mission is to build public health infrastructure and capacity for disaster response and recovery, and enhance community preparedness and resilience.

We have particular interest in improving outcomes for individuals who may be at risk for severe consequences after disasters.
